Upcoming Groups

To be determined, but most likely my women's group "Your Heart's Desire" will begin again sometime in march, meeting weekly for 10 weeks.

Your ideas are welcome!
If you have an idea for a group, or feedback about a group you've already attended, please email me at info@marymscott.com, or call me at 207-323-8062. I'd really enjoying hearing any and all comments from you. Thank you! Be well...

Weekly Groups: There really is strength in numbers...

A weekly group is an excellent way to immerse yourself in two vital processes that lead to growth: awareness and action. A group also provides the encouragement that many of us find so helpful for getting on track and staying there. A group "bears witness" to our goals and desires, and gives us the necessary--and diverse--insight to guide us.

Very often, these groups are truly life-changing. As we begin to shift our thoughts, our lives change in profound ways. Two hours long, each session is fairly structured, but allows for flexibility. The session begins with open sharing of each person's week, what's currently working for that person and what may not be, and any requests for feedback from the group. The rest of the time is dedicated to discussion of the text we're using and the home assignments, and doing planned exercises. The exercises can include anything from quiet, introspective written work and visualization, to partnered exercises, role-plays, and other techniques appropriate to the group and topic.

Confidentiality is sacred and treated as such. Personal responsibility is also an essential group component. Each person is responsible for his or her own self, the amount of work they choose to do or not do, and for the amount of sharing they feel comfortable with. As the facilitator, my intention is to guide, never force.

In short, you create your own outcome: not always an exact destination, but an increasing openness to abundance. Yet no one, including myself, is left unmoved by the strength and power of a group gathering. If you'd like to speak with someone who has attended previously, please ask!
